In Australia and New Zealand, two distinct Mailprotector Partner types are offered
to align our mutual business strategies:
 Value-Added
Resellers (VARs)
VARs are the cornerstone upon which Mailprotector Partnership is based. The VAR
program compensates VARs for enabling Mailprotector to their customers use. These
key partners benefit by protecting their clients with a proven, hassle-free email
security solution while at the same time enjoying a recurring revenue stream.
VARs often integrate Mailprotector into their complementary technology, product
or service offerings in order to optimize their reselling efforts. They maintain
complete ownership of the relationship with their customers and provide them with
Tier-1 and Tier-2 technical support. VARs in Australia and New Zealand are supported
by Myithelpdesk, Mailprotectors Master Distributor in the Region.
Affiliates
The Affiliate program provides recurring compensation or accelerated commissions
to partners who promote Mailprotector and refer customers to Mailprotector. Typically,
Affiliates do not provide any additional services, only referrals that lead to new
direct customers which Mailprotector supports and invoices.
This group of partners can also include companies who choose to advertise/promote
Mailprotector in campaigns or on their websites, online catalogues, etc.
